hello! i'm zack, my pronouns are he/they/fae, and this is my little corner of the internet! the layout may look serious but i'm really very very silly. the plain appearance is mainly so i don't get too distracted decorating my site lol

i learned html and css a few years ago, and i've wanted to make a personal website since then. and here it is now!! yippee!! i originally wanted this to be a place where i could gather All my art (visual, written, musical, etc.), but that would take up too much of my energy i fear ... maybe the site will expand in the future, maybe it won't, but for now this will just be a silly blog with my silly thoughts.

hi! i'm zack! i'm better known as ben in real life, and i'm ant whenever i feel like it. you can call me any of those three names, go wild. i'm still trying to figure out if any of those names really fit me. 🤔 i'm a queer* filipino artist trying to keep his whimsy intact while being faced with The Horrors every day.

*if you want the specifics, i'd say bi, transmasc, and aroacespec, but honestly most of the time my identity is just some vague gay notGirl thing so i stick to general terms

paragraphs are hard. here's a fun little list of things about me instead:

the biggest enjoyer of silly drinks Ever. i love matcha and coffee and milk tea and i am trying to stop it from turning into a caffeine addiction
the worst media consumer Ever. i can't watch a series or read a book unless i make myself finish it in one day. otherwise i Will forget about it. can't watch movies either because i never have the energy for it.
music however! music is nice to me. i love listening to music see my favs below hehe
for some reason my social media of choice is pinterest. it's the least overwhelming i guess
it might be because i always wear a mask and it muffles my voice but cashiers always get my name wrong so whenever i order i like to steal someone else's name to spare myself the embarrassment

WHAT'S WITH ALL THESE NAMES?

i think it's apparent at this point that i'm a guy of many names lol. ben was chosen mainly because my deadname also started with b and so it's the easiest to use in real life without much explanation. zack was taken from that one kid in school of rock (my all-time favorite movie). ant was taken from that one guy in heartbreak high (2022) (which i Still haven't finished the second season of).

i go by februarytodeath (or just febtodeath) everywhere else on the internet—that's based on the song "april to death" by flower face, one of my favorite artists! i replaced april with february because that's my birth month. it's very far removed from the original song's story, that's for sure

i went with a different name for this website though! partly because i really want to try out this name, and partly because i feel like this site is kinda separated from the rest of my online stuff, something in between projected and personal. darlingxdrafted has an absolutely ridiculous story behind it.*

*to put it short, it's a weird mix of a novel that's like if the heathers were a cult of creative writing students in college and a kpop group of prettyboy twunks who've just wrapped up the coming-of-age narrative they've been telling since their debut. don't ask me to explain (though i probably will end up doing that at some point anyway).

i said i'm the worst media consumer ever but i do have the energy for getting into things sometimes. when i say this is a dump i Mean Walls Of Text. especially for the music section. (take the music section as a bunch of recommendations actually lol.) there isn't really a particular order for these.
